    Tasting Notes

A fantastic white wine that comes from a blend of
Vermentino and Viognier. Aging for 4 months in steel
and three months in the bottle, it is a white wine with a straw yellow color with greenish reflections, an intense and complex aroma of fresh white pulp fruits such as banana and pear. On the finish there are notes of clumps and yellow fruit, important fresh floral hints such as white thorn and mulberry. The taste is harmonious, fresh and savory with a hint of mineral and a good persistence.

    Bolgheri Bianco

    Region of Origin

The Bolgheri DOC Vermentino wine is part of the prestigious Bolgheri DOC denomination, which originates from the Tuscan coastal region of Bolgheri. This area, with its mild climate, fertile soils, and proximity to the sea, creates the perfect environment for high-quality grape cultivation. The Vermentino grape thrives here, producing fresh and aromatic wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region, with a distinct minerality and elegance.

    The Grapes

Vermentino – Viognier is a white-wine blend, creating fresh and lively wines with plenty of aromatic personality.
Vermentino adds more floral and citrus notes along with some additional leafiness, while Viognier brings all its aromas of chamomile, lavender, thyme and even a hint of juiciness to the blend.
The vines that form part of the Bolgheri Vermentino
DOC Toscana wine are Vermentino minimum 85% plus other white Tuscan grapes.

    Altezza Winery
    in San Gimignano

In the heart of Tuscany, in San Gimignano—the medieval city of a hundred towers—stands Cantina Altezza.

Perched on a hill that seems to touch the sky, it embodies the very essence of its name: a privileged vantage point from which the gaze drifts across the majestic towers of the city.

Here, where the beauty of nature intertwines with tradition, wine is not just a product but a story of family, passion, and terroir.
